Dell XCS prototype

Dellxcs A really odd looking gadget! without question this is one of the oddest PC concepts ever, the Dell XCS attempts to simplify the inner workings of computers to make life easier for those who aren’t technically-inclined. Instead of the standard set of drives and cards connected to a motherboard via a series of cables and wires, the XCS  features a series of modular components, which would then snap together to form the computer just like a puzzle. Again, this is only a conceptual design, but a computer like this could have wide-reaching effects throughout the industry. Let’s see if they actually make such a wonder.

Fembots heyheyhey

Fembot2005 The Actroid, shown here, was developed by Kokoro and Advanced Media. She's a twentysomething fembot with dewy skin, warm eyes, and enough AI to understand 40,000 phrases in each of four languages: Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean. She also "performs rap music." Snip:

The humanoid can put on facial expressions suitable for the more than 2,000 types of answers it can give, but it may refuse to answer to some questions for "privacy reasons," making an X with her arms and bowing. She also has a sense of irony. When asked if she is a robot, she says, "Y.e.s, I. a.m. a. r.o.b.o.t" in a disconnected voice and moves about clumsily. A moment later, she says "Just kidding" and starts a natural flow of movements.

Six feet under

Picture_28 Radiant and incredibly tactile, Lundgren Monuments are designed for the individual who defies definition, and in the setting of a memorial park or cemetery they are glowing beacons that stand out amongst the traditional stone memorials. I would definetly want one of these for me, I am affraid of the dark.

Let's Mambo! err Roomba!

Roombaproelite The Roomba ProElite works around obstacles as it sweeps, making it simple to stay on top of daily touch-up floor maintenance. Just press one button to tell the unit what size room to clean and the sweeper-vac methodically covers your floor, moving from carpeted to hard surfaces seamlessly. When it finishes it turns itself off. An included remote control for the Roomba ProElite enables you to turn it on and off, and direct Roomba’s path to clean specific areas. The sweeper-vac’s brushes scoop debris into the dust cup like a traditional sweeper, and a built-in vacuum helps pick up finer dirt like pet hair, trapping dust inside instead of circulating it. A side brush also cleans right along the base of a wall. It can clean more areas than a traditional vacuum because it slips under coffee tables and beds. Rechargeable battery lasts up to 90 minutes per 12-hour charge. (BTW: whoever has possession of the remote control gets credit for doing the vacuuming.)
